A new view to me. Locomotive No.1, probably in April 1927 when photographs were taken for publication in the Locomotive Magazine later that year. The engine looks strangely lonely without a soul to be seen on Valletta station platform.
The article describes how engine No.1&2 were still occupied on lighter daily services of five or six carriages between Valletta and Birkirkara, and once a day a four-carriage train to Mdina.
